About Me.
I am currently a senior at Howard University, where I am pursuing a major in journalism and a minor in biology. My academic and professional journey is deeply rooted in a commitment to bridging healthcare and communication, with a specific focus on advocating for people of color who frequently interact with the medical field. My goal is to provide diverse communities with essential information to help them make informed health decisions, ultimately fostering positive change and impact.

In my previous role on the health editorial team, I am responsible for curating and writing educational advice columns, with a particular emphasis on maternal and fetal health. This position has honed my skills in investigative reporting, fact-checking, and crafting accurate, engaging content. Additionally, I am proficient in using tools such as SEMrush and Airtable, which assist me in organizing stories and optimizing them for SEO to reach a broader audience.

I am passionate about maintaining a strong work ethic and producing high-quality, precise reporting. I view constructive criticism as a valuable opportunity for growth and am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to contribute to your team. By joining your organization, I hope to continue advocating for and supporting diverse communities while raising awareness of critical health issues.
